For permanent installation use the enclosed adhesive strips.

Clean the surfaces with 50/50 alcohol and water.

Apply strips to the inside of the covers.

Clean surface of the pulley flange using 50/50 alcohol and water, then scour the surfaces using Scotch Brite until the surface is somewhat porous and then clean the surface again.


Apply covers to pulleys. Do not attempt to work with the adhesive if temperature is less than 68 degrees; doing so may interfere with proper bonding.

Enclosed are 8-32 x 3/16 stainless buttonhead screws, which may be used instead of the adhesive strips. Use a #29 drill and an 8-32 tap. Be sure to use red loctite when installing the screws.

Note: To remove the adhesive strips, spray some WD 40 or carb cleaner into the slight opening where the cover and pulley come together.
