The ThunderMax replaces the factory ECM module, (no more struggling to hide those ugly piggy backs). The ThunderMax is purpose-built to deliver uncompromising performance - Easy to Install & adjust.
On 2007 & later models Installation is a straightforward replacement of the factory module and oxygen sensors*. On 2000-2006 oxygen sensor bungs can be easily added to allow update to the Auto tune, alternatively 2007up pipes can be used.
The ThunderMax contains hundreds of base maps dyno-developed by Zipper's on real motorcycles. Choosing a map is a quick and easy process; loading a map takes less than a minute. After that, you're ready to start the motorcycle. Once running, let the bike warm up at idle to operating temperature while the Thundermax automatically dials in idle and warm-up settings for your engine and you're ready to ride!
Every time you ride, the ThunderMax AutoTune module analyzes the air/fuel ratio read by the wide-band oxygen sensors and makes any necessary adjustments to the injector to achieve the desired air/fuel ratio.
